During the treatment, very small micro-pin pricks penetrate the upper layers of your skin creating small, micro-channels.
These micro-channels stimulate a natural healing response, which helps lead to the creation of new collagen. Over the course of several treatments, this repetitive healing process can create a new layer of collagen that can improve the overall appearance of your skin.
Micro-Channeling can be used anywhere on the face and body where skin imperfections are located. Treatments can smooth out imperfections and improve the surface texture of your skin. Your skin will appear younger and healthier after a series of treatments.
This process helps increase production of collagen and elastin to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and tone.

How many treatments should be done?
The number of treatments varies from person to person and depends on what and who we are treating. For deeper wrinkles or acne scarring, usually 5-7 treatments may be required to achieve desired results. There is no limit to the number of treatments that one can receive as long as adequate time passes in between each treatment.

What is the down time?
You will have to wait a minimum of 90 minutes before applying anything on the skin after a treatment including facial products, sunscreen, makeup, and moisturizer. It can take 24-72 hours for all redness to disappear.
How will your face look immediately following a treatment?
There is a very wide range of normal reactions. Anything from little to no reaction, to a deep red flush, to slight pinpoint bleeding is normal. As this is a non-ablative procedure, more extreme reactions do not necessarily correspond to better results.
